baresip does not collect any personal or app usage information nor share such information with anyone.

baresip needs access to microphone for the purpose of voice communication with other parties.

It can be optionally chosen in Settings that baresip uses Android contacts as references to SIP and tel URIs. If chosen, baresip does not store Android contacts nor share them with anyone.

baresip supports secure call setup and messaging via TLS and secure media via ZRTP and (DTLS) SRTP encapsulation options.
